A number of regions in Indonesia today, began to close schools in their respective regions to reduce the spread of the corona virus or covid-19. Students are advised to conduct teaching and learning activities in their homes using information technology and social media.

Ironically, even though their children have been dismissed for 14 days, there are still many parents who do not understand the policy. However, this is understandable, because the policy is not accompanied by an adequate explanation.

 

Even though for 14 days it is very important and must be accompanied by compliance actions. Yes, 14 days are expected to be able to stop the chain and the rate of transmission of covid-19.

Well, what 14 days was able to save thousands of people. Why?

Explained from various sources, when someone contacts with anything that can infect it with covid-19, it must be waited for 14 days at a minimum. If nothing happens, the person is safe.

However, the 14-day holiday policy to cut the chain of transmission, will only succeed if everyone stays in their homes for 14 days. Why?

For example, a child starts off on Monday (3/16) today. After 14 days off, he will go to school again on the 15th day, Monday (3/29). It turns out that the child and his family use the time off to travel, visit groups of people, or to relatives, malls, and others.

If he had walked the 10th day and contracted covid-19 in the place he visited, maybe on the 14th or 15th day there were no signs of him being ill, but he had brought covid-19 in his body and potentially transmitted it, when he entered school on the 15th day and so on.

Even 14 school days are useless, because transmission can occur at school. from that moment the domino effect will take place, the chain of transmission is also unbroken. For that, everyone must work together, help, and be united to go nowhere in those 14 days. Except for things that really need.

Time 14 days, it is very useful to monitor each other if found people who show symptoms of suffering from co-19 attacks. So that he can be treated immediately and stop transmission only to him, because he did not contact with other people in 14 days.
