Humans must understand the importance of friends in his life. To celebrate these feelings then didedikasikanlah day for friends and friendship. Therefore, the first weekend in August declared as a friend set by the U.S. Congress in 1935. Since then, World Friendship Day is celebrated every year on the first weekend in August.
The idea was accepted by several other countries. And today, many countries celebrate Friendship Day. Celebrating Friendship Day in the traditional way, people meet their friends and exchange greeting cards and flowers to express affection to their friends. Many social and cultural organizations also celebrate Friendship Day with a gathering together of its members.
Many of my friends to exchange gifts and cards for friendship day. Friendship bracelets are very popular in India, Nepal, Bangladesh and parts of South America. With the advent of social networking sites, Friendship Day is also celebrated online.
