Corona's Positive Cases Continue to Grow, How Can You Protect Yourself from Covid-19?


Corona virus SARS-CoV-2 causes Covid-19 is still growing. More than 190 countries have reported positive cases in the region. Until Sunday (3/29/2020) morning, there were 662,073 cases of positive infected cases reported from various countries. Of these, 30,780 people were declared dead and 139,426 people had recovered.

To prevent the spread of the virus, WHO recommends washing hands regularly, covering the mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, and thoroughly cooking meat and eggs. Maria Van Kerkhove from the WHO's zoonosis and disease unit recommends avoiding unsafe contact with live animals and washing hands after contact with animals. Gabriel Leung, co-recruited by the WHO Collaboration Center for epidemiology and control of communicable diseases, said masks should be part of prevention efforts. "If you are sick, wear a mask. If you go to a crowded place. Wear a mask even though you are not sick," Leung said. "If you have symptoms, especially if you have traveled to Wuhan, please seek media attention and be honest with your doctor," he continued.

  10. Go to the hospital immediately if you experience symptoms of Covid-19.
