Writing objectives

schoolash.blog - Each paper has a purpose, Agus Budi Wahyudi (2011:77) describes some of the goals contained in the article include:
a) A paper aims to inform or teach so-called informative discourse.
b) A paper aimed at convincing or persuasive discourse called urgent.
c) A paper aims to entertain, or happy-called literary discourse, literary writings.
d) A paper aimed to express feelings and emotions that are called fiery expressive discourse.


In addition there is some purpose to write, among others:

  1. Provide information, which convey the facts about events, issues, trends, or phenomena.
  2. Describe the writings that analyze / elaborate on why an event, issue, trend, or phenomenon occurs (usually describing the events, issues, trends, or phenomena, so that audiences understand them).
  3. Directing the words "Like This" / tip in doing one thing ("How To" article), such as: "How to Solve Crimes of the Road", etc..
  4. Persuade / convince people, this paper tries to persuade people or at least having comparable thoughts about events, issues, trends, or phenomena, such as writing a book review or film.
  5. Summarize / create a summary of a work (book, etc..), An activity, meeting, or seminar to be more compact and can be read quickly without losing the essence (eg meeting minutes)
